One of the most anticipated Buicks of the year, the 2022 Enclave, is expected to make its debut within a few short months. Buick lovers are excited that some of the most popular features on the vehicle have been retained and eagerly anticipate the newest features that the updated car will have. Below are four things you should know about one of the newest Buicks about to hit the market.
1. Included Driver-Assistance Features
The new Enclave will come with a lot more standard driver assistance features, including automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, which provides braking assistance if the vehicle detects something in its path and the driver fails to take corrective action.
Other driver assistance features that will be standard on the 2022 Enclave include automatic high-beam headlamps, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control will still be available as an option.
2. Upgraded Avenir Trim
You will also see changes to the new Enclave at the highest trim level, the Avenir trim. The Enclave’s already premium trim level sees another luxury boost with added comfort and aesthetic features in both the interior and the exterior.
In the cabin, you will enjoy updated quilted leather upholstery and unique wood trim features throughout. The updated Avenir comes with massaging front driver and passenger seats that are both heated and ventilated. The exterior of the Avenir also gets a facelift with a custom grille insert and body-colored lower trim panels.
3. Modern Updates
All trim levels of the new Enclave enjoy interior and exterior updates to give it a more modern feel than previous models. The new headlamps and tail lamps, combined with redesigned front and rear bumpers, give the new Enclave a more streamlined and sleeker look. Larger, updated wheels also increases the exterior’s attractiveness, while also providing a smoother ride.
On the inside, the console is more user-friendly, and a push-button shifter provides for a more updated experience when driving.
4. Ample Space
The Enclave stills remain one of the best Buicks for drivers looking to maximize their space. The vehicle features optional third-row seating to accommodate any size family. Front and second rows provide ample legroom and headroom for passengers, allowing for a comfortable ride, no matter the road conditions.
While the third-row seating does not provide as much leg space for taller passengers, it still is comfortable enough for the average-sized adult. With all three rows engaged, the trunk space is still enough to accommodate a few small suitcases or a load of groceries. If you need more cargo space, both the third and second rows can collapse to allow plenty of space for any large or awkward-shaped cargo you wish to carry.
